Share Market Update For 1st Feb: The Indian stock market is usually closed on Saturday and Sunday. But this time the domestic stock market will be open on Saturday i.e. 1st February.
Actually, this time Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the general budget on Saturday (1st February). The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has issued an information regarding this. In the information issued by NSE, it was said that on 1st February (Saturday), the stock market will be open from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm.
When is the stock market open on Saturday?
Normally, the stock market remains closed on the last two days of the week, Saturday and Sunday. But sometimes on special occasions, such as the day of the general budget, the market remains open on Saturday as well.
Similarly, on February 1, 2020 and February 28, 2015, the budget was presented on Saturday and the market was open on that day. For those who want to trade before the market opens on the day of the budget presentation, the market will be open from 9:00 am to 9:08 am.
According to a notification, the BSE index will also be calculated on February 1, 2025 (Saturday). The exchange has declared this day as a special trading day due to the Union Budget 2025-26. The market will remain open during regular trading hours. More information about this is given below-
