LPG Price: Big relief to the general public before the budget, big reduction in the prices of LPG cylinders

LPG Price: There is some news of relief before Budget 2025. Actually, the price of commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 7. However, the prices of domestic cylinders will remain the same as before.

LPG Price: Before the budget, the common man has got a big relief. Today, from February 1, the price of commercial cylinders has been reduced by Rs 7. 

The reduced price will be applicable only on 19 kg commercial cylinders, while no change has been made in the prices of domestic cylinders. 

Last month, the largest OMC, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), had cut the price of 19 kg cylinders by Rs 14.5 for the first time in 6 months, which became Rs 16 in metro cities. LPG prices in 19 kg cylinders are seeing a decline for the second consecutive month since the new year 2025.

This change in LPG prices comes ahead of Budget 2025, which is scheduled on February 1, 2025. The Finance Minister is expected to change the duty on petroleum products on Saturday. It will be watched to see if the Finance Minister announces any reforms related to LPG or other petroleum products. 

What is the price of cylinder where?

LPG price in Delhi: The maximum reduction in price was Rs 7 in Delhi, bringing the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder to Rs 1797, while last month its price was Rs 1804 per cylinder.

LPG prices in Kolkata: The city witnessed the lowest price cut of Rs 4, bringing the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder to Rs 1,907 per cylinder. In January, the price was Rs 1,911. 

LPG Price in Mumbai: The price of 19 kg LPG in the financial hub has been reduced by Rs 6.5 to Rs 1749.5 per cylinder from February 2025, while it was priced at Rs 1756 last month.

LPG price in Chennai: The price of 19 kg LPG has also been reduced by Rs 6.5 to Rs 1959.5 per cylinder, while last month it was priced at Rs 1966 per cylinder. 

LPG prices in Jaipur: Here commercial cylinder became cheaper by Rs 6.50. After which the new price has become Rs 1825. Whereas earlier the price was Rs 1831.50.

LPG price in domestic cylinder:

Talking about domestic cylinders, there has been no change in its prices since August 1, 2024. Even in February 2025, the price of a 14.2 kg cylinder will be Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.

Aviation fuel became expensive 

While airlines have suffered a setback. Because aviation fuel has become expensive. OMCs have increased the prices of aviation fuel and increased ATF prices by ₹ 5078.25/kilo liter. 

Earlier in January, ATF became cheaper by ₹ 1401.37/kilo liter. In December, there was an increase of ₹ 1318.12/kilo liter, while in the month of November also the prices had increased by ₹ 2,941.5/kilo liter.
